We also apply a Flexible product (flexipoint) to improve the ridge security of your concrete tile roof and change any broken tiles.

A sealer coat and base coat are then applied followed by a hardwearing gloss colour glaze for maximum durability and weather protection.

Concrete Roof Painting Process

• Preparation and Maintenance: Prior to the water blasting wash, it's crucial to replace any broken or damaged tiles to maintain the roof's watertight integrity.
• A thorough pressure cleaning is essential to eliminate all debris, ensuring optimal conditions for the application of the roof coating system. Additionally, exterior surfaces undergo a gentle wash to clear gutters of any unwanted materials.
• Restoration of Concrete Tile Roofs: Repairs are conducted on ridge and barge capping, valleys, and flashings as necessary. Typically, a comprehensive re-pointing of existing mortar on ridge and barge capping is undertaken, employing a flexible pointing compound for enhanced durability and weather resistance.
• Application of Sealer and Base Coat: Based on the texture and porosity of the roof tiles, a suitable 100% acrylic sealer/basecoat system is recommended to facilitate adhesion and longevity. 
• Application of Top Coats: Following the preparation steps, one or two coats of 100% acrylic roof paint are applied, offering a choice of satin or gloss finish according to your preferred color scheme.
